Is there an age restriction at the Dullstroom Winter Festival?

How do I get to Dullstroom Winter Festival?
Dullstroom is +/- 200km from Pretoria +/- 250km from Johannesburg in Mpumalanga. From Johannesburg you can go via the airport side on the N12 to Nelspruit or via Pretoria on the N4 via Witbank. Remember to turn off at Belfast and then on to the R540 once you’re through the town.
Can I bring food and drinks into the event?
You are more than welcome to bring your own drinks. There will also be various foodstalls amongst others. Please note NO glass is allowed on the premises. Strictly no braais or cooking implements of any kind.
Will there be seating?
There is a lovely grassed area in front of the stage. Please bring your own camping chairs and picnic blankets. No gazebos and umbrellas but do bring sunblock!
Will there be stalls?
Yes there will be lots of food stalls including pancakes, biltong, burgers, buffalo wings, milkshakes, coffee, Griekse Boertjie foodtruck and arts, crafts, clothing and lots more!
Can I bring a pet?
Unfortunately not but feel free to check in your pets at the Dullstroom Kennels for the weekend. Contact Dullstroom Kennels : 082 877 1541

What am I NOT allowed to bring onto the festival grounds?

The following items are prohibited on the festival grounds:

  • Anything Glass
  • Illegal substances or drugs
  • Fire Arms, weapons , Fire Works and crackers
  • Hubbly Bubblies
  • Braai’s

So, this past past weekend, the DWF has come to an end! There will be no DWF 2020. Its been an incredible 8 year journey, and we had the privilege to work with great artists, sponsors and supporters. The artists are too many to mention off course, but DWF could always attract the very best South African artists. We worked with some really amazing people from the beginning, and although putting it together was sometimes stressfull, it was mostly a helluva lot of fun!
